1.0 CONCEPTO

Como parte del estudio de la pareja infértil el factor tuboperitoneal es uno de los más importantes, dado que representa aproximadamente 35% de los casos de infertilidad. Este factor no ha sido estudiado ni comprendido en su totalidad, dada la dificultad para diseñar estudios adecuados para la evaluación de la función y no solamente la permeabilidad tubaria, así como el gran progreso terapéutico que significaron las técnicas de reproducción asistida de alta complejidad que se posicionaron como el tratamiento primario ante obstrucción tubaria. Es por esto que aún hoy seguimos en la búsqueda de la mejor manera de establecer un diagnóstico adecuado.
