Sarcoma indiferenciado embrionario del hígado. Estudio clínico-patológico e inmunohistoquímico de ocho casos con énfasis en el diagnóstico diferencial con tumores intraabdominales en niños y adultos jóvenes

RESUMEN
El sarcoma indiferenciado embrionario de hígado es un tumor maligno poco frecuente de rápido crecimiento, constituido por células fusiformes que afecta a niños y adultos jóvenes. Existe sobreposición morfológica con otros tumores hepáticos, como carcinoma hepatocelular, hamartoma mesenquimatoso, rabdomiosarcoma embrionario y varios otros sarcomas. Para complicarlo aun más, el perfil de inmunohistoquímica para sarcoma indiferenciado embrionario de hígado tampoco es específico para diagnóstico, pues muestra evidencia de amplia diferenciación divergente. Se comunican ocho casos de sarcoma indiferenciado embrionario de hígado en los que se revisaron las características clinicopatológicas e inmunohistoquímicas y el diagnóstico diferencial de masas abdominales en niños y adultos jóvenes.
