FRAGMENTO
La conducta sexual de la rata macho influye en la fisiología de glándulas sexuales accesorias tales como la próstata. Las hormonas esteroides participan tanto en la conducta sexual como en el funcionamiento normal de la próstata. Éstas ejercen su efecto a través de sus receptores, los cuales pertenecen a la familia de receptores a hormonas esteroides localizados en el medio intracelular.
