FRAGMENTO

Clostridium difficile es una bacteria formadora de esporas, anaerobia grampositiva y la causa más común de gastroenteritis infecciosa en pacientes hospitalizados en Estados Unidos.
C. difficile puede causar diferentes cuadros clinicos, desde un portador asintomático hasta una colitis pseudo membranosa potencialmente fatal.
