Tratamiento de los ameloblastomas. Análisis de 26 casos

RESUMEN

El ameloblastoma representa el segundo tumor odontogénico más común. Se caracteriza por su agresividad local, con una muy baja tendencia a metastatizar. Su pronóstico varía según el tratamiento empleado. Se presenta un estudio retrospectivo de las características clinicopatológicas de los ameloblastomas tratados por el Servicio de Cirugía Maxilofacial del Hospital Juárez de México, entre los años 2007 y 2009, así como un análisis de los factores a tomar en cuenta para definir el procedimiento terapéutico.
