Alteraciones ungueales como marcador de enfermedad sistémica

RESUMEN
La revisión clínica de las uñas en el paciente grave orienta al diagnóstico de enfermedades sistémicas de tipo vascular, nutricional, endocrinas, infecciosas, reumatológicas y de la piel, entre otras. Las modificaciones en su forma, color, vascularidad, presencia de bandas, identaciones y puntilleo de la placa ungueal y la separación de su lecho, son indicadores de enfermedad sistémica.
