RESUMEN
Este artículo revisa la etiología, fisiopatología y tratamiento de los niños con falla hepática aguda. Hace énfasis en el manejo inicial de pacientes con falla hepática múltiple ocasionada por infecciones por virus y bacterias, medicamentos, toxinas naturales, enfermedades autoinmunes y tumores.
