Arteritis de Takayasu. Reporte de dos casos

RESUMEN
La enfermedad de Takayasu es una arteritis inflamatoria crónica, oclusiva
de la aorta y sus ramas principales. Su etiopatogenia se ha asociado al
antígeno leucocitario humano (HLA) y a tuberculosis. Se trata de dos
pacientes adolescentes con criterios del CAR
1 para presentar arteritis
de Takayasu: edad menor a 40 años, alteraciones arteriográficas abdominales
y renales, claudicación de las extremidades en ambas pacientes. Por la
sospecha de tuberculosis se manejaron con rifampicina y pirazinamida
durante 6 meses.
