Evaluación isocinética postreconstrucción de ligamento cruzado anterior: comparación de dos técnicas

RESUMEN
El objetivo de este estudio es observar las diferencias en la evaluación isocinética después de la reconstrucción de ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA) con técnicas hueso – tendón patelar – hueso (HTH) y semitendinoso/gracilis (STG).
Métodos: Noventa y cinco pacientes con seguimiento mínimo de seis meses, evaluados con dinamómetro Cybex 6000 durante contracción concéntrica a 60°/s. Los déficits de fuerza en flexión y extensión, fuerza torque máximo (PT) en flexión y extensión (Nm) y balance muscular fueron analizados con tablas ANOVA.
Resultados: Se evaluaron veintisiete pacientes HTH y sesenta y ocho STG. Documentamos una pérdida de fuerza de flexión promedio para HTH 18.82% y 11.05% para STG (p = 0.056). Pérdida de fuerza extensión promedio para HTH 24.04% y 17.1% para STG (p = 0.75). El balance muscular promedio fue STG 73.4% y 68.6% HTH (p = 0.961).
Conclusión: No existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas en cuanto a las evaluaciones isocinéticas en pacientes reconstruidos del LCA con técnicas HTH o STG. Documentamos tendencia a pérdida de fuerza PT de flexión y extensión y balance muscular con predominio flexor después de reconstrucción HTH.
