Agenesia unilateral de una arteria pulmonar y coartación de aorta en un paciente con síndrome de Turner

RESUMEN

La agenesia unilateral de una rama de la arteria pulmonar, es una rara malformación congénita frecuentemente asociada con enfermedad cardiaca congénita. De hecho, la arteria pulmonar está típicamente discontinua del tronco arterial pulmonar, pero no ausente. Nosotros reportamos un caso de ausencia de la rama pulmonar izquierda asociada con coartación de aorta en una paciente con síndrome de Turner (45XO) y revisamos la embriogénesis y tratamiento de esta rara anomalía congénita.
