Síndrome dismórfico con anomalías congénitas múltiples: Clasificación actual

RESUMEN
La clasificación actual de las enfermedades con malformaciones congénitas múltiples considera cuatro grupos:
síndrome, secuencia, complejo y asociación, de esta manera es posible tener el diagnóstico clínico de estas dismorfias y su posible explicación fisiopatogénica, a pesar de las variaciones fenotípicas de los pacientes afectados por un mismo síndrome. El empleo de esta clasificación facilita el diagnóstico temprano de estas enfermedades y explica la patogénesis implicada en ellas.
