FRAGMENTO
El carcinoma cervicouterino es sin duda la forma más común de cáncer entre nosotros. A pesar de su alta incidencia y de las múltiples publicaciones sobre su tratamiento, tanto nacionales como extranjeras, la discusión de su terapéutica es siempre un tema pertinente y de actualidad. Los principios fundamentales de su tratamiento, tanto radioterápico como quirúrgico, aunque en apariencia conocidos, son con mucha frecuencia mal aplicados, teniéndose por resultado un alto porcentaje de recurrencias y desastres desgraciadamente todavía muy comunes.
