RESUMEN

La fisura anal es un padecimiento muy frecuente, de los más dolorosos en nuestra especialidad, por lo general es mal diagnosticada por los médicos de primer contacto que ocasionan retraso en el tratamiento con posibles complicaciones. El objetivo es dar a conocer esta enfermedad, las bases para hacer el diagnóstico. Los diversos tratamientos médicos y quirúrgicos existentes, incluyendo casuística personal, con un análisis para que el médico pueda escoger el mejor método de tratamiento en beneficio del paciente.
