Daño intestinal por antiinflamatorios no esteroideos

RESUMEN
Antecedentes: las drogas antiinflamatorias no esteroideas (AINEs), son los medicamentos más ampliamente prescritos en el mundo, con alto índice de complicaciones por daño gastrointestinal.
Objetivo: presentar dos casos clínicos de daño intestinal asociado a la ingesta crónica de AINEs.
Método: se presenta un caso clínico con enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal con enteropatía del yeyuno y otro caso asociado a hemorragia digestiva baja con demostración endoscópica de úlceras en colon derecho.
Conclusión: los pacientes con ingesta de AINEs que cursan con diarrea, hemorragia, desnutrición o anemia hay que descartar daño intestinal.
