Síndrome antifosfolípido. Informe de un caso

RESUMEN

Se informa de un escolar, de catorce años de edad, que presentó una trombosis ileofemoral profunda y extensa; se acompañó de dolor y aumento de volumen de la extremidad pélvica, sin compromiso arterial. Ameritó trombectomía y manejo con terapia anticoagulante. Se estudió la causa de la trombosis, investigando posibles alteraciones de la coagulación y patología autoinmune. Se concluyó que la paciente tenía un síndrome antifosfolípido primario. Se planteó la probabilidad de que la paciente pueda presentar luego lupus eritematoso sistémico.
