Conducta terapéutica después de cirugía de epilepsia

RESUMEN
En epilepsia no quirúrgica, las drogas antiepilépticas (DAE) son reducidas con la intención de retirarlas por completo en pacientes libres de crisis convulsivas. Sin embargo, en pacientes posquirúrgicos no existen lineamientos acerca del modo y del cuándo las DAE pueden ser descontinuadas, en quiénes y cómo lograrlo. Aquí revisamos algunas evidencias acerca de este tópico.
