Varias técnicas han sido evaluadas para determinar el tiempo de vaciamiento gástrico, parámetro útil en el diagnóstico y manejo de la gastroparesia, e incluyen la serie gastroduodenal con bario, gammagrafía, pruebas en aliento, ultrasonido y resonancia magnética nuclear.
