FRAGMENTO
La ineficacia en la realización de procedimientos clínicos, paraclínicos y quirúrgicos ha demostrado ser una de las principales causas de complicaciones médicas que repercuten tanto en morbimortalidad como en el incremento de los gastos de hospitalización al repetir o realizar estudios innecesarios, en diferir o reintervenir pacientes, con el consiguiente aumento de días-cama e insumos, además del impacto socioeconómico que representa al paciente, a su familia y a la sociedad en que vive.
