Una visión actualizada del tratamiento de la bronquiolitis por inhalación de aerosoles

RESUMEN

En este reporte se revisa el tratamiento de niños con bronquiolitis mediante el empleo de aerosoles inhalados de los beta-2-agonistas de la epinefrina y de los anti-inflamatorios esteroideos. Como conclusión, se menciona la ineficacia de estos compuestos en el tratamiento de esta enfermedad. Se recomienda el empleo de un agonista alfa-2 adrenérgico: epinefrina natural (levógira o acuosa), y medidas de sostén: oxigenación (si es necesario), conservarlo bien hidratado y una alimentación adecuada.
