Resumen de la historia clínica
Se trató de una niña de tres meses de edad que fue referida a este instituto desde los nueve días de vida por peso bajo al nacimiento, cardiopatía congénita cianógena, paladar hendido y pie valgo.
Entre sus antecedentes familiares importantes destacan madre de 23 años que fumaba cinco a seis cigarrillos al día, hábito que mantuvo durante los cinco primeros meses del embarazo; padre de 46 años, aparentemente sano, dos hermanos de siete años y de un año ocho meses de edad sanos, y abuelos paternos con cardiopatía no especificada.
