Bypass aórtico ascendente-a-descendente por esternotomía en hipoplasia de arco aórtico y coartación aórtica

RESUMEN

Presentamos el caso de una paciente masculino de 10 años de edad con diagnóstico de hipoplasia de arco aórtico y coartación aórtica. Presentó hipertensión arterial sistémica. Se evidenció preoperatoriamente un segmento de aorta hipoplásico amplio que dificultaba el pinzamiento para una reparación por toracotomía posterolateral. Se interpuso entre aorta ascendente y descendente un injerto extracardíaco de Dacrón No. 20 con derivación cardiopulmonar, por esternotomía, con un tiempo de bomba de 121 minutos y pinzado aórtico de 88 minutos.
