Tropismo multifacético del SARS-CoV-2

RESUMEN
El SARS-CoV-2 tiene predilección por los grupos celulares que son ricos en receptores
ACE2 y TMPRSS2, los cuales están distribuidos a lo largo del cuerpo humano, lo que
hace que, además del sitio primario de contagio o primoinfección, que es el aparato
respiratorio, el virus tienda a diseminarse por diferentes mecanismos afectando prácticamente
todos los órganos, aparatos y sistemas conocidos, con lo que su tropismo se
hace extenso pudiendo condicionar cuadros diversos aunados al respiratorio.
