La medicina basada en evidencias en infectología

RESUMEN
La medicina basada en evidencias (MBE) es un método que mediante el uso consciente, explícito y juicioso de la mejor evidencia disponible, permite tomar decisiones para la atención de los pacientes. La MBE puede ser practicada en cualquier situación en la que existan dudas sobre la etiología, diagnóstico, pronóstico o tratamiento de cualquier enfermedad. La práctica de la MBE integra la experiencia del clínico con la evidencia más sólida disponible. En esta presentación, se expone el proceso por el cual el clínico puede resolver preguntas surgidas de sus pacientes con la mejor evidencia disponible.
