FRAGMENTO
La población en general tiene un mal concepto sobre la ganancia de peso corporal, el paciente se considera responsable de ello y piensa que, en el momento que lo desee, se puede deshacer fácilmente del exceso de peso. La obesidad está en una posición similar al alcoholismo hace 25 años, con la idea errónea de que el problema es resultado de la falta de carácter para dejar de comer en exceso.
