Flujo de sustratos energéticos en síndrome dismetabólico

RESUMEN
La postura encontrada respecto a la etiología de las enfermedades crónico-degenerativas y por ende su manejo, enfatiza, entre los factores causales, la responsabilidad de los “hábitos dietarios”. Desafortunadamente los intentos para modificarlos no han logrado consistencia en los resultados; esto obliga a una revisión crítica de la variable “hábito dietario” para decidir si justifica ser considerada una variable independiente en el contexto de las alteraciones del síndrome dismetabólico. La relación de interdependencia entre los llamados “hábitos dietarios” y los flujos de sustratos energéticos inducidos por la intensidad del “trabajo habitual” en sujetos portadores de síndrome dismetabólico parece condicionar el desarrollo de las alteraciones iniciales.
