ABSTRACT
The demand of orthodontic treatments in the last years has increased as a result of an improvement in the dental health, a greater offer of professionals and the evolution of the cultural norms on the concept of acceptable occlusion. For that reason the experts in health have concentrated all efforts in the design and validation of objectives methods to registry and measurement of the malocclusion with the purpose of know the real necessity of treatment of the population and the benefits obtained with these treatments. Therefore this investigation will contribute to the objective evaluation of the criteria of early necessity of patients of the region of Puebla, specifically of those who assist to the clinic of orthodontics at the University of Puebla to offer them a suitable and opportune orthodontic treatment.
