Dolor cólico en el lactante

RESUMEN
Con el propósito de aclarar el mecanismo del “cólico del lactante” se describen los mecanismos fisiológicos mediante los cuales se perciben los estímulos nociceptivos y se obtiene la respuesta dolorosa. Se revisan los factores que parecen estar implicados en este síndrome y las pautas a seguir en la valoración clínica de estos niños, su manejo y tratamiento.
