El riesgo del procedimiento anestésico en la función renal

RESUMEN
Se analizó la literatura nacional e internacional con el fin de revisar las alteraciones de la función renal que pueden causar los medicamentos utilizados por los médicos anestesiólogos durante el acto pre, trans y postoperatorio, y que por condiciones específicas del enfermo, dichas alteraciones pueden provocar insuficiencia renal aguda o la agudización de la insuficiencia renal crónica. Si el anestesiólogo es minucioso en el estudio de las sustancias que utiliza cotidianamente podrá detectar tempranamente la presencia de daño renal o alteraciones hemodinámicas en el paciente, con lo cual disminuirá la incidencia de los efectos adversos.
